The Foire commerciale de Normandin – 19th edition

The Foire commerciale de Normandin will be back this spring for the presentation of its 19th edition on April 28th, 29th and 30th, always at the Sports Center of the place. Initiated by the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie secteur Normandin, the event should bring together under one roof more than forty exhibitors. Already some thirty of them have confirmed their presence.

The GÉANT sector, which brings together the municipalities of Girardville, Saint-Edmond-les-Plaines, Albanel, Normandin and Saint-Thomas-Didyme, is in solidarity to make this biennial event a popular and economic success. It is the mayors of these municipalities who will co-chair the Fair this year. The theme « Ensemble pour bâtir » reflects the spirit of unity that inhabits the socio-economic leaders of the GÉANT sector.

« We think business, we think exhibitors, we think frequentation, we think financial partners, we think volunteers, we also think social activities, » said Robin Gauthier, the new president of the Chamber of commerce, at the press conference .

Guylaine Tanguay, Quebec’s country singer, will perform with a show she will perform on Saturday night. Daughter of Girardville, she would not deprive herself and her admirers of this pleasure.

Similarly, Laurie Marois, the renowned local painter, joins the event and produces a live performance on stage. She will also be present throughout the weekend as an exhibitor.

Commercial activity, of course, but the objective of the organizers and volunteers is to make this event a family activity where the population can discover and appreciate the diversity of products and services offered in the upper Lac-Saint-Jean and beyond .

The organization aims to reach again 6000 entries in three days. Entry to the site is at a popular price.
