This positioning system uses data from the sawmill optimizer, which assigns a trimming solution to each piece of wood. This system collects trimming data and precisely positions each piece of board as it enters the lineshaft trimmer.  Positioning before entering the trimmer is electrically adjusted and programmed by a main controller.
