JAMEC team member among the 2024 top 10 under 40

JAMEC team proudly confirms the nomination of Guillaume Duchesne as winner of the Étoiles de la Relève Forestière 2024 in Quebec, also known in English as top 10 under 40.

Aged 28, Guillaume works as a site foreman and ensures that nothing is left to chance. Guillaume has a great ability to read sawmills projects, and he was able to demonstrate this in each of the projects contributing to our customer success.

His dedication to each and every project he manages, and his contagious positive energy, make Guillaume a crucial resource contributing to JAMEC’s success, notes its President and CEO, Eric Cloutier.

Guillaume is an important pillar for our industry, and we are proud that he is a member of our team. Well done Guillaume!

Canadian Forest Industries magazine features JAMECs’ Trimmer

JAMECs’ Precise Trimmer on the cover page of the latest edition of Canadian Forest Industries magazine

The latest edition of Canadian Forest Industries magazine covered the 57 million investment made by Resolute Forest Products for their new Mill in Senneterre.  Proud partner of Resolute Forest Products, JAMEC participated in the modernization plan of the Senneterre site by offering several mechanical equipment and its unique installation service.

A non-exhaustive list of JAMEC equipment that has been designed, manufactured and installed by JAMEC:

  • Package entry and various conveyors
  • Multi Saw Precise Trimmer and their transfers
