JAMEC team proudly confirms the nomination of Guillaume Duchesne as winner of the Étoiles de la Relève Forestière 2024 in Quebec, also known in English as top 10 under 40.
Aged 28, Guillaume works as a site foreman and ensures that nothing is left to chance. Guillaume has a great ability to read sawmills projects, and he was able to demonstrate this in each of the projects contributing to our customer success.
His dedication to each and every project he manages, and his contagious positive energy, make Guillaume a crucial resource contributing to JAMEC’s success, notes its President and CEO, Eric Cloutier.

JAMEC annonces today that he joins the NELMA, Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association.
Established in 1933, the Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (NELMA) is the rules-writing agency for Eastern White Pine lumber and the grading authority for the SPFs grouping of species that includes Eastern Spruce, Balsam Fir, Red Pine, and other commercially important softwood lumber species grown in the northeast and great lakes regions. In addition, NELMA is a leading agency for export wood packaging certification and the marketing voice for the regions’ wood products industry.
